The Xtend^® Hot Water Spray ‘n Brush system involves the following steps:

System design
The size, shape and positioning of the multidirectional nozzles ensures that all fruit/vegetable surfaces receive adequate washing. Water pressure and size of water droplets are carefully adjusted to optimize the process, yet avoid produce damage.

 

Rotating brushes are designed to ensure a uniform wash and sanitization. Special attention is paid to the diameter of rollers and the distance between them, as well as to the density and size of the brushes’ bristles.
